Back to the Bales

Off out in search of a blip this morning. I didn't want to leave it too late because rain was forecast for the afternoon although it's only just coming in now by the look of it. It's set to give a good bit of rain into the Bank Holiday and beyond.

There seem to be a few fields that have been cut recently with bales still in them but I think it's almost all done for this year. I've seen one field with corn (as in maize or corn on the cob) but I can't see much sign of the big yellow stuff which is going to make the best photo.

Today's been a bit overcast from the start but there was a little weak sun coming through. These bales looked good in the distance and gave a bit of interest to the empty fields.
