Camping

Packed up the car to the brim and I took the kids to Sherwood Forest for their first camping trip. Fran was working, so she met us there after work. In fact she arrived just after all the work was completed, tent was up, camp was set, meal was cooked, impeccable timing, one might say!

We brought out the tent we used for our honeymoon over 10 years ago and it had not seen much use since, so we were putting our faith in the old girl; will it stay up, will it stay up?

This shot was as we were getting ready to snuggle down for bed. It was however a long time before anyone actually got to sleep, with all the noises of the camp!
