Nom! Lunch!

Colin had told me about a colony of ladybirds on the stone pillar at the entrance to St Botolph's church hall. He suggested I might like to take photos.

Knowing that the location was in the shade, and with it being a dark morning, I decided to use a ring flash on my macro lens.

Sure enough, at least two species of ladybird that I could recognise and I took a few shots. Imagine my delight when looking through them, that I had actually captured a ladybird eating an aphid! Terrific!

Will return there when I have more time. Hope Colin will be pleased.
