River of Flowers

Benllech Bay, #Anglesey

Very windy on the coast for most of the day, also very grey and overcast.

The two young seagulls are staring into the wind and waiting for the weather to blow over. Late afternoon the wind dropped, moved to a southerly and warmed up - very pleasant evening.

Coffee with the Tuesday Gang and an old friend of mine turned up. GWJ trained me as a draughtswoman with the Water Board. He is our daughter's godfather and has been a really good friend over the years. Nice to catch up with him and his wife.

Called in on Merville in Llangefni and gave him some windfall Bramley apples, he had just picked some blackberries and was thrilled to have apples to go with them. His garden has some nice patches of colour and it looks very pretty. He is still picking sweet peas from the plants we put in months ago!

Came home through Benllech and decided to go along the prom, the waves had been crashing over the sea wall and there was seaweed everywhere. It wasn't very warm either :-((
