An Unexpected View.

I walked to the Post Office just now. When I left the house I saw there was bright sun, but a heavy indigo sky.

On the way back I went into the church, on the off chance of finding a better blip than the one I had in mind.

Imagine my delight when I saw a piano in the process of being overhauled. I had never seen the insides of a grand like this.
I was given permission to photograph the work, and we had a good chat as it rained heavily, haled loudly and then snowed, all in seven minutes.

I am now back home in the warm, with a Florentine and a hot cup of tea, 15 minutes after taking the photo.
He was very happy, as he said Uppingham had the warmest church in England.
