My Photographic Footprint

Instant Snow (Proof of).

I was on the telephone to my son for only about 12 minutes earlier today.
When he rang it was green outside. Then the snow and sleet suddenly kicked in.

He thought I was totally exaggerating when I told him it had gone white outside, in a matter of minutes.
I had to get proof. (Before it melted).

My camera was flat. So I grabbed the old Nikon, which has a broken battery catch.
It was very nippy, and tricky taking photos with half my hand holding the catch shut. But I luckily saw this pretty pile of flowerpots, with some Ivy leaves which showed off the snow fall perfectly.

I nipped back in, thawed out and and then sent the proof to sunny snow free Nottingham.
