That moment

That moment, when your car is minding its own business in the car park for the viewpoint at the top of the hill behind Kilcrohane. When the car park is suddenly invaded by representatives of the up to 150 participants in the 48th Irish National Motorcycle Rally taking place up the road in Killarney (complete with vintage motorbikes, of course, and hailing from a wide variety of countries). And when a man wearing flipflops and shorts on a day that is not that warm, pushing a double buggy with very small twins in it, and walking a small yappy dog also turns up.

Yeah. That moment.

Earlier on we enjoyed bright sunshine doing the Lighthouse Loop, before I braved the waters of the Atlantic Ocean (well, Dunmanus Bay) at Dooneen Pier. The trip to take photos from the heights above Kilchrohane was just an afterthought - generated by the fear that today might just be the only (more or less) dry day we enjoy this week...

I've started a flickr album.
