Lochness at sunset

We had to collect Richard from work at 9 o'clock this evening so we decided to head down to Dores to see the sun set. We took the scenic route , through Dunlichity which was lovely as the light on the loch was beautiful and the heather was out. We just reached the Loch as the sun disappeared. It was quite busy but me managed to park and walk down to the shore. Lots of ducks were swimming about. The man, Steve Feltham, who has lived in a van trying to spot Nessie since 1991 was sitting round a fire with some friends. Two girls arrived with their Mum and Dad and a bucket and proceeded to do the Ice Bucket Challenge in the Loch. I am amazed at how many people are taking part including children and they all seem to know why they are doing it so even the awareness of ALS/MND has been improved immensely by such a simple act.
