" FROM A DISTANCE "

Got up this morning, eventually, reluctantly, crabilly, to a very dull wet morning. Dont know who looked worse, me or Phoebe, as we stood in the back porch waiting and hoping for the rain to stop. We both agreed it wasn't worth the wait and gave up. She was able to go back into her bed!

At 8.30 Matthew bounced down the stairs. I dont know how he does it, full of optimism, but then his life is very much what he wants.

After we rounded up all his books etc. I returned him back to Longrun with the promise of seeing him on Saturday when we sing for their BBQ. Also saw Adrian who was going on a walk, apparently to calm him down as he had been a bit hyper over the weekend. (probably realised Matthew was at home!)

After our farewells, drove on to work and managed to play 'catch up'. This afternoon felt exhausted and had to lie down for a while. I sometimes get like a sugar level drop and feel very perculiar. But eventually, having been disturbed by numerous unwanted 'phone calls, went and ground down some more glass panels.

Poor Phoebe waited patiently and we eventually got out for her favourite walk on the Beacon Field and managed to catch the dark rain clouds as they chased across the sky.

I dont feel ready for Autumn/Winter yet, preferring to feel the warmth of the sun, as I'm sure we all do. Hoping for a sunny weekend, especially for the Longrun residents some of whom are in wheelchairs.

Halfway through another week by tomorrow and another day nearer to pay day. yipee. The only reason I go off to work.

Thankyou dear blip friends for your continued support. It helps to feel necessary. xxx
