Dartmouth Regatta

It's been steadily raining from low, heavy clouds all week so far, putting rather a dampener on Dartmouth Regatta. These Air Training Corps youngsters were making sweet music to a small but appreciative audience.

The town is coned off so there's nowhere to park. Combine that with naff weather, and the crowds ... weren't happening! Mr PP dropped me off for my physio and picked me up again following the one-lane diversions, hence my glimpse of the action. Such a shame when so much hard work and planning goes into this annual event.

Hope the weather picks up. If it stays like this I doubt we'll see the Red Arrows on Friday in their 50th anniversary year. Let's hope the clouds lift in time.
