Anatole's blips

PROM 53 - Brahms night

An excellent evening with the Budapest Festival orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. The 1st clarinetist was very good in the 3rd symph. He had to swap backwards and forwards between A and Bflat for the different passages, swapping over the mouthpiece each time to keep the reed pressure consistent. They played the 4th after the interval and then the orchestra got up and sung us the evening serenade as an encore. Top notch.
