Dynamic Range

What a strange day weather-wise.

Totally overcast, dreich morning at 8am.
By 10am the clouds were breaking and light was filtering through.
By 2pm, the sun was shining and the skies were blue.
2.50pm I was hanging out a washing in warm sunshine.
2.57pm I was locking the front door to go down to the school for pick up and the rain was bouncing off the road...
5.30pm the sun was out again.
A beautiful clear night and no aurora warnings in place - typical!
