Portencross & Wee Cumbrae

Countless stone-scouring storms have carved the rocks at Portencross into interesting shapes. Today, there was only a slight breeze, but the strong light highlighted the surf to resemble a creamy froth. The ship glimpsed through the foam is the Maltese registered "CSL Clyde" slipping past the coast of the island of Wee Cumbrae on its way to the Clydeport Terminal at Hunterston, a couple of miles north.
