Nine Million and One Bicycles in Beijing

I bought a bike yesterday. My criteria was that it should stand out so that I don't have to spend hours looking for it in the huge bike parking area at the station. I think you'll agree this fits the bill!

It's a single speed of the kind that you jam your pedals backwards to brake. I love it, it's perfect for doing the 10km each way between the school and the hotel where we are temporarily staying and will be useful for getting to the metro station once I start work. At only £45 brand new I was quite chuffed!
