Home again

We got home from our mini-vacation today. We had such a lovely time, and didn't let some surprise events spoil it, like this morning when we woke up to a flat tire on our car ... We've never had a flat tire on this car before (in 2 years of ownership), and when my husband tried to get the spare tire from under the car, it was utterly impossible to release it. So we called a local mechaniser, who was busy at the moment, but came as soon as he could. We just relaxed, had some coffee and sat in the sun while we waited for him. When he came he didn't even try to release the spare tire, as he knew from earlier experience it would be impossible. He just took the flat tire with him and repaired it. Afterwards we had lunch and as the weather was extraordinary nice, we just sat there outside the caravan for a while, enjoying life.
We got home around four o'clock but then I must admit I was very tired ... and didn't go and meet some of my friends as planned. But my husband, always full of energy, decided to make lobster dinner, as this is the last weekend my son and daughter in law will be staying with us. They have been here the whole Summer, but will be leaving on Thursday to Keflavík, where they live. And here is the young couple ;-)
