My first day alone in Riga

I am already two weeks in Riga, but today is the first day I am on my own. At ten o'clock my boyfriend left together with my dad and stepmother.
In the afternoon I went to the city to meet someone from my school. We met at the freedom statue which is placed in the center of Riga. We had lunch together and chatted for a while. After a couple of hours we went our separate ways and I went for a walk into town. I have seen some nice buildings and enjoyed the weather, which was quite nice today. After this I took the bus home and picked up some groceries on the way.
