Stupid o'clock at Caen Hill Flight

I need to learn a lot more about taking a successful sunrise picture. The golden sunlight pouring down the locks from top to bottom minutes later was some consolation for my failings, as were the pancakes when I got back home.

For the fact lovers, Caen Hill Locks is a flight of 29 locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal, near Devizes. These locks move water and boats up and down a rise of 237 feet over 2 miles taking 5 - 6 hours by boat (according to Wikipedia). If you're a canal enthusiast it's a bit of a mecca. If you're a local, it's a great place to have on your doorstep.
