Rutting Season?

Have you ever seen deerhounds rutting? Me neither until this morning's walk!
Goodness knows what they were doing but I know that they were making a lot of noise whilst I was sat in silence with my flask of coffee, waiting for a sighting of the kingfisher.
Needless to say, I never saw the kingfisher.
I popped over to see my youngest Daughter and the children this afternoon. Mckenzie had a cold and was generally quite miserable. When he sat and ate his dinner with a pair of upside down adult sunglasses on, nobody stopped him.
Fire pit and lots of lovely food this evening.
