New Year, New Life

Lovely day for a foreshore walk

Went on a guided walk this morning between Millennium Bridge and Cannon St. One way along the Thames Path and then back along the foreshore. One of my guiding colleagues had partnered with an archaeologist so we were able to get instant feedback on our finds. Jane found a rather lovely piece of green-glazed medieval pottery. I found what looked like part of a bottle stopper but could be the top of a Tudor moneybox. Not to mention lots of clay pipe fragments. I have so many of these that I don't bother much with them anymore. Still searching for the elusive bowl complete with stem though.
