Penny bun

Boleros edulis is popularly know as the Penny Bun.

Given the size of this one it is more likely to go go about £4.50.

Another most enjoyable day staying in Peebles, a lovely old town in the Scottish Borders. Our morning walk was on part of the John Buchan Way. This is a well way marked 13 mile trail from Peebles to the village where Buchan used to live. There was a Buchan Museum at the end of the trail but this has recently been moved to the Peebles end.

The fungi were on our afternoon walk on excellent paths in the Cademuir Plantation owned by the Forestry Commission.

This is a lovely town and for anyone wanting a walking holiday we can recommend it.
