Linn of Dee

First full day of gadding around the countryside with blipfriend JanetH and we chose to visit the Cairngorms National Park.

I took her to several of my favourite places, including Glenshee, Braemar, Linn of Dee, Ballater, Loch Muick and Cairn o' Mount, stopping for the inevitable refreshments along the route and we had a lovely day. The weather was a mixture of sunshine and clouds, but no rain, which is always a bonus.

This blip is of Linn of Dee, near Braemar, where the River Dee has cut a deep gorge through the rock to form a waterfall, which I have to say was a bit feeble today due to lack of rain (so maybe not always a bonus!)

We should sleep well tonight and be ready to hit the road again in a different direction tomorrow:-)
