The State I Am In

Wrocław Rynek

Since we had to visit a lot of places, I had waken up at 7am. We headed to the Jewish Cemetery first because our mutual aim of this travel is to acquire Jewish knowledge. Then we left for Ostrów Tumski, the oldest part of Wrocław, in order to ascend the tower of St. John's Baptist. Amazingly this church has a lift so we were able to go to the top with ease. Having had lunch, we went to White Stork Synagogue, which had been closed the day before. The inside was like a small museum. After that we headed to St. Elizabeth's Church, which we had been looking forward to ascending its tower to see whole Rynek (Market Square). However, the church was closed due to a ceremony (funeral?), so we killed time at Vinyl Cafe which has got a great vibe. Having looked around the inside of the town hall, we were able to enter St. Elizabeth's Church at last. The scenery from the top, shown in the picture, was absolutely fantastic.

The extra photos are of the Jewish Cemetery, scenery from St. John's Baptist, and I and lassies whom I met at the hostel I stayed.
