And finally...

Home. We drove back from Dublin today. We left Dublin so early and made such good time we had breakfast in Carlingford, which also afforded a good stopping off point to look for a blip.

Carlingford Lough was fully occupied with a combination of an inversion and a lot of young people who seemed to be doing watersports activities (and mainly chucking each other off pontoons).

A great trip to Ireland. It was the first time we'd been there for that length of time for more than ten years (we last had a holiday in Ireland in 2003, by my recollection). It's an interesting place. Strangely familiar, of course, but also in some crucial ways quite different to the UK. I became more used to its foibles the longer I was there.

I've been backblipping:

Conference merriment.
Peaceful walk.
Lewis Glucksman Gallery.

Until yesterday morning, I was in a hotel, from Saturday through Wednesday. That's now 80 whole or part days in hotels in 2014...
