Nothing but blue skies

Smiling at me, but I'm not smiling back. Blue skies in the morning signal a hot afternoon, and that's just what we got. More clouds, please!

The tree on the left is losing its chlorophyll. I don't think we're going to have spectacular fall colors this year, but the tops of trees are fading toward brown and rust.

Nothing but blue skies do I see.
Never saw the sun shining so bright.
Noticing the days hurrying by.

BLIPFOTO NOTE ON STARS

I have noticed that a number of blippers have turned off ratings (stars), and I intend to follow them. I appreciate every visit and every comment. I know I sometimes appreciate someone's post and don't have time to comment, so I just throw some anonymous stars at it (and often do this without mentioning it when I do comment). So maybe I seem inconsistent, even to myself. Nevertheless, no more stars for me.
