Daintree national park

We started our day with 'jungle surfing'; we were surfing through the different trees while being attached to some ropes. Quite nice to see the rainforest from this kind of view. The guides were all very nice and talked a bit about the surroundings as well.

In the afternoon we walked around at some beaches and drove as far North as we could, as after that point you would need a 4x4, and walked around there some more. We got to this beach which was quite nice.

In the evening we did a night walk with the grandson from the owner of the fruit farm where we were staying. He did really well! We walked around on their property and towards the sea and told us about all kinds of trees and animals. As they have a fruit farm there were all kinds of trees and information we hadn't heard before yet. We also saw some animals such as a white tail rat, heaps of toads, frogs, fish, and crabs which ran towards the sea. We almost found a crocodile but we didn't. Most of all though it was very interesting to walk around and hear about it all!
