Sunny in parts

Just waved the granddaughter off after a Friday night sleepover for a birthday party (ice skating followed by making-your-own-pizza no less.....but whatever happened to tres chic sausages on sticks and a game of passy-the-parcel, with sixpences wrapped in greaseproof paper in the scones if you were very, very lucky?)

So it was a quick, sideways sidle down to the bottom of the street for a blip (the demon sciatica came to call yesterday, not a welcome visitor!) Luckily I hit a weather window!
