Wensleydale Barns

I've now arrived in the cottage we are staying in. It's on the outskirts of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a lovely cottage and the owner provided the most scumptous flapjack to welcome us. There is only one piece left.

Just before tea I popped out on a reconisence mission to scout for the locations in the vacinity of the cottage. The weather was pretty hazy all day so long distance views and vistas weren't really the order of the day, and I saw these two barns in the field just opporsite our cottage, and I thought that they would make a nice subject.

Just about to go out on the first trip of the weekend now, which hopefully might include seeing a steam train on Ribblehead Viaduct for the first time.
