Eat Me!

Surely a sign of Autumn when the Fly Agaric emerges. There's a spot on the northeast side of Swithland Reservoir where they seem to be flourishing thanks to some dying silver birch.

I'd never been to Swithland Reservoir before, in all the years I've lived in this area. I was lucky enough to get on to the lakeside because fishermen were there which gave me a splendid view of the Great Central Railway crossing to the southwest but then the fishermen told me they were leaving and I would have to go too as they lock the gate behind them.
