A time for everything

Shadows on the snow

Wonderful day today. When I first got up to make us a cup of tea there was a beautiful blue sky, but by the time we'd dressed and come down for breakfast it was overcast again and I was afraid we'd seen the last of the sun for the day, but fortunately I was wrong - the sun re-appeared and remained all day long. We went for a photo walk in Sharon Woods, enjoying the winter wonderland. We even saw a couple of people on cross-country skis - a rare sight in Cincinnati! Then we went on to the "Y" - Roger went to the fitness room, and I went swimming again. Then this evening, we celebrated Valentines Day a day early! We went out for an early dinner at our favorite French restaurant, which we love, but hadn't been to in quite a while. It always brings back memories of our years in France, and also holds special memories as our daughter Jen and her husband chose to have their wedding reception there. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, accompanied by a bottle of wine, then went to the Music Hall in downtown Cincinnati to a Cincinnati Sympohony concert, featuring Radu Lupu playing the Bartok Piano Concerto no 3. Beautiful weather, beautiful sights, great food and great music, and the one you love to share it with - what more can you ask for?!
