Too good to eat!

Today I was treated to lunch - Japanese style. My omelette was decorated with the popular cartoon character 'Anapanman'. The show has been on the TV here in Japan continuously since October 1988.

Heavily merchandised, the Anpanman characters appear on virtually every imaginable children's product, from clothes to video games to toys and now... Lunches!

Words and pictures are yin and yang. Married, they produce a progeny more interesting than either parent.
