Evening Pond

One of my favourite places on the farm is the Pond.
It's shallow waters are home to a myriad of insects and creatures of the water .
I'ts vegetation is lush and vibrant with mosses, ferns, flax and grass as well as Willow Trees, Oaks and NZ native tree ferns.
Birds flit in and out of branches and hide beneath overhanging ferns and grasses.
I love the peace and silence of the Pond in the evening just before the dark creeps in.
