Suppositions

Lunch at the lake again today. We became aware there was a large crown was gathering next to the Lido di Lenno. They then departed on water taxis towards the Villa Balbianello for the wedding ceremony before returning here for the post matrimony festivities. Admittedly there lies some supposition here, but it was certainly a wedding group. Although there were a couple of photographers it is fair to say there was no sign of George Clooney.

The weather has been fabulous all day. In the evening we were able to sit outside for a glass of wine on the terrace, though we did come inside for dinner. We bought some more salad ingredients today, but have adjusted the fridge, so hopefully everything will stay fresh without becoming inedible..

Our Irish neighbours have arrived. It is nice to see them again. On our previous visit, they were leaving just as we arrived. Unlike ourselves they have the benefit of a direct flight from Dublin and so come over frequently, but tend not to stay long. We come over less frequently but stay longer.
