Menaggio

A relatively active start to the day as we were meeting up in Menaggio for morning coffee. The morning was bright and sunny but there was a cool wind as we sat in the square having a cappuccino,

In the afternoon we ventured over to Bellagio on the ferry, By this time it was much warmer. On the way back we stopped off at the local bar for a beer.

Bit of a mishap on the dinner front. We had bought salad and stuff yesterday for a cold meal and put it in the fridge, The fridge must have been turned down and everything was far too cold, and when thawed was quite soggy. The ham was still edible, and the wine was fine, and luckily had not frozen, though the bottle was quite cold to hold. Fortunately we had plenty of bread otherwise it could have been quite a spartan evening.
