Cobham Village Day

This morning it was Cobham Village Day so I walked down to the village and had a look at some stalls and the general activities. I remembered this tall pair from last year, and they entertained the crowds with their juggling. There were all the usual stalls of various types of food and also the local shops were promoting their business.

After lunch I went to see Thomas' first U14 match at his school. It was all a bit confusing as to what team he was in, as they played a much weaker school so he was in the U14 E team and they played the opposition U14 C team and won by 6 tries to 2. But there was no D team - so next week we will see where he ends up.

Last night I went to watch Thomas perform in his music scholars' concert and it was excellent, with individual performances from each boy and the standard was exceptionally high, I was very impressed. The general opinion is that this year of boys is a very talented year, so it should be good for the school.
