CannyScot's Day

By CannyScot

Fierce Dragon

Very misty start to the day but clearing later.

Spent the morning in Aberdeen with my cousin looking at old family photos and helping my cousin's husband set up his newish Tablet computer. Drove home and stopped at the Brechin Castle Garden Centre for lunch. Spotted this fierce dragon shaped from a hedge - very creative and one of a number around the Centre and Country Park.

As promised yesterday, I have uploaded a number of photos to Flikr. On the way to Aberdeen we had stopped at Dunottar Castle and Stonehaven as well as the Noth Esk Viaduct - see here.

In Aberdeen we stayed on the 5th floor of a block of flats with a good view of the City skyline. We also visited an area round the Harbour called Fit'Dee, which is an amazing self contained community with wonderful and wacky gardens and narrow streets. Well worth a look here.

Hopefully there will be a good network connection in Uganda in the morning as I am preaching via Skype again.
