Pedal Power

We've had a full day today - Alan and I had to take Bobbie to the vets at 9am for a check up on his eye, and everything's fine. We then took the boys for a walk to the beach with Ian and Tracy, where we had bacon sandwiches for brunch at Molly's.

At lunch time, we headed into Brighton and took Ian & Tracy to see the Royal Pavilion and the North Laines, where we ended up buying an antique log burner for our new house.

The Tour of Britain came to Brighton today on their longest stage, so we walked down to Madeira Drive and managed to find a gap where we could watch the riders from the other side of a corner so we had a great view.

We're now watching the race on the TV and are surprised at the difference in the weather - it looks like it had been raining inland, whereas it has been really hot and sunny in Brighton.

Anyway, I'd better get back to our visitors and I'll try and catch up with your tomorrow.
