Sympathetic

After a hard morning at the allotment, I found myself coming out in sympathy with the Countess of Strathearn in her present delicate condition.

Still. It's yet another reason to reject any opportunity for self-determination.
Obviously, the main reason is money. Just like the Westminster political class, money is all I think about. Natural justice, it just doesn't come into it. Obviously. The possibility (however remote) of tuppence on a jar of goosefat at Waitrose, or the thought that the anonymous stockbroking companies might Lose Confidence is too terrifying to contemplate.
Thank heavens that I'm being offered a devomax pig-in-a-poke, if only I see sense and think about the possibility that I might personally be out of pocket a little (not that there's any proof it would be so, and certainly the Westminster austerity policies would bite deeper if there was a victory for Blate Feartie Together)
Still. At least there would be the certainty of devomax. Well, if the coming Tory-UKIP coalition can persuade the English MPs to graciously allow Scotland such largesse. No problem. Gordon Brown said so, and you know how much the Westminster parliament loves him. They'll happily do what he asks.
And remember; in the case of a Yes vote, Westminster will forbid us the pound (money, remember, it's all that matters to us). The last thing that they'll do is negotiate a deal in order to maintain the pound as an oil-backed currency. Nope. No way. Stay scared of the unknown, Scotland.
Stick to the certain knowledge that Something Bad might possibly happen, like not being in the EU. Then, after the next Westminster election, we can cheer as Boris and Nigel take the entire UK out of Europe, whatever we might say in this country!
Don't break Cameron's heart! You know which way to vote on Thursday.
Think of the Royal Children!
