We fancied a roast on this Sunday. Radical I know. Is there a finer thing!?
We went for our favourite, pork! For a change though, we did go slightly off-piste with this particular roast beast, and we let it sizzle & crackle in the oven on a lower heat all afternoon so we could create a shoulder of pulled pork. Thanks again go to Lorraine Pascale for her another brilliant recipe. Simple but brilliant.
It worked a treat! With crispy roasties, green veg & a some meaty, juicy gravy to finish, we were quite happy.
I've also been sampling a selection of ales from the Allendale brewery this weekend, Golden Plover being particularly tasty.
