My mother chose the cycle ride instead of the segway and we headed out at around 8.30am.

7 hours later as we headed back, I wondered did she think she chose well. We headed towards Damme and I was very keen to reach Sluis in Holland. Maybe next time!

We checked with a local cyclist about crossing the only busy road junction on our route and she said she would lead us across to the safety of the other side.

10 out of 10 for the hospitality and scenery.

The on route refreshments were not at all bad either.
