Mum's birthday

Mum's birthday today - 88 years young (same age as the Queen).

As the sun was setting Mr A and I went for a walk (notched up over five miles apparently) over the farm land the other side of the A3. A truly beautiful area under the blight of a "several thousand new houses development" planning application. Anyway, we saw several deer, a couple of foxes, bats and the most wonderful sunset.

A lovely way to spend Wednesday evening. The only thing missing was a local hostelry!
