Walk in the troisieme arrondissement

and found some quirky stuff. Here you see something that looks like the equivalent of a chastity belt of the Middle Ages, only for the breasts... A decoration piece in a store for fashion of all things :-)
On Rue d'Aboukir we saw what is called Aboukir Oasis, a Housewith a completely overgrown facade by many different plants and very artfully arranged. It was a hard choice between the picture you see here and this unusual house.
It was again about 27 degrees hot, but as many streets are narrow we managed to walk mostly in the shade, have a nice lunch in a corner restaurant and take some pictures of these big buildings and their impressive corner pieces.
Close to the rue de Rivoli I visited the European Museum of Photography whith some very interesting exhibitions.
By 4 pm finally some thunderstorm clouds were building up as you can see on the last picture and we hurried home. Our friends on the Champs Elysee got really wet, but where we were, not a single drop fell.

Thanks for all your kind comments and stars. I will probably not be able to comment a lot during the next days, we are heading to Germany and the Alsace for a short visit. WEll, maybe in the train?
