A Day Worth Recording

Wall

We went out tonight for an anniversary celebration - and excellent it was too. E had found that by joining the Malvern theatre (pictured) we could get standby tickets easily so we did so and took a punt on a locally written play called "Adrian's Wall".

Ahead of the performance we went in search of a meal and ended up at Benedicto's, an Italian restaurant. The meal was excellent, especially the mushroom and goat's cheese starter, and the atmosphere entertaining - very Italian.

Then to the play. With the exception of Warhorse recently I have not enjoyed a theatrical performance as much as this one for a very long time. It was outstanding, both in the writing and in the acting.

Sadly it's only here and only on until tomorrow. It really deserves to be toured and enjoyed by many.

Rather looking forward to more productions - especially at a third of the price of Cambridge and without the pretentiousness.

Heavens, even the parking was free.

In other news... we have a plumber! Indeed, everyone was here yesterday afternoon: two roofers, two plumbers, tree surgeon, window cleaner, energy consultant, Uncle Tom Cobley,..
