Firework Party.

Friday night is firework night in Blackpool. For several weeks while the illuminations are on and the evenings are dark, Blackpool hosts a firework competition, the results being judged by the people of Blackpool. Each Friday, a noisy and colourful display is put on by a team of pyrotechnical experts from a different country. Tonight’s spectacular display was put on by Canada and watched, it seemed, by the entire population of Blackpool plus all its visitors.
