Hard at work

My dad's been glass painting again. This time not bottles, candle holders. It looks quite pretty and he's put wee decorative flowers around the top that he's made somehow. I'm not sure how.

Reminds me of the time we got the guides to paint candle holders for mothers day and the next week a dad came in to tell us they were fire hazards. He was a fireman. Oops. But also, I think he was being a bit over cautious. It was just glass paint on the candle holder, and you shouldn't leave candles burning unattended anyway. Another banned activity for the guides. Fluffy bunnies, ladders, candle holder painting, what next?
