Day of first snow

Luckily not for us in Helsinki, but it's amazing how the papers are saying that tomorrow comes the first snow and they don't say that's it's affecting Lapland only. They say anything to make it look like scandalous or dangerous. Anything to make us want to read it. Can't help but wonder how this kind of news coverage affects us and children especially...

Today is the workday 1/5. Here the week starts again. And the weather changes even if not to snow. Rains and colder weather. So far haven't needed to use coats, which is amazing considering it's later September. Regardless of the need for coats or not the following week looks like a walk in the park next to last week from hell.
