I spent a little while trying to blip the jackdaws at the peanut feeder, we shouldn’t really feed them as they seem to cause damage to our roof that requires expensive repairs, but we do get endless amusement from their antics. Lessons learnt were that you need quite a fast shutter speed to capture their heads - or, as in this case, a lot of luck - and a quick trigger finger. Focusing isn’t too easy either.
It was shortly after I took this that the shutter button fell off the camera, I think I found all the pieces, but the camera hospital say that I need a whole new top plate; obtaining it will take significant amounts of both time and money. It’s a pity that the warrantee has expired.
I’ve just posted last Wednesday’s “Puncture.”
