Bluff

I travelled today to Invercargill and took a 20km detour to Bluff. Considered by many to be the southernmost it point in NZ, it's not. But it's close and easily accessible so hey, why not.

Bluff itself as a small port town and often not talked about kindly. I think it's OK - it's got a certain kiwi character. It's also the place the ferry departs to Stewart Island, NZ's newest National Park and a very special place.

So I had to take the photo, as I am sure millions of others have. But this is my one! And yes, as usual it was wet and VERY windy!
