That Friday Feeling

A few different choices for today, but in the end this summed up the feeling that only a Friday can bring. Met Emma (being an old friend from school) for a lunchtime coffee, together with her two daughters Poppy and Alora, both of whom stop and grin straight at the camera any time it's pointed in their direction. It must have been at least 6 months since I last saw all three, and Poppy especially seems to have grown up a huge amount - school would appear to be agreeing with her.

Always helps, as well, when the sun is shining, and with but half the day of toil remaining I'm looking forward to getting to the twin S weekend days. What's waiting round the corner? Ach who knows. A wee walk maybe; a trip to the farmers market; but not a dog photoshoot which has been postponed for the second weekend in a row following a dump of snow over Berwick.

We do have to clear out our bedroom on Sunday, ready for the new flooring to start going down on Monday.

p.s still no sign of visiting life in the nestbox since the little video camera went in, but the Blue Tits don't start nesting till sometime in March apparently. Fingers still crossed.

p.p.s. the knee is still getting better gradually.

p.p.p.s. the cold is lingering.

Alora

p.p.p.p.s. a year ago today is one of my favourite shots I've EVER taken!
