A concrete love affair

Dunedin

A pleasure to have visited Scotland's farthest outpost, and indeed probably the furthest I could go from home in the south east of New Zealand's South Island.

A beautiful city with lots of character and charm with some lovely architecture. The University of Otago campus is heavily based on Glasgow's with many buildings in the neo-gothic style. The railway station is also beautifully gothic and with such fine civic architecture this city is well worth the trip.

This is the city's central square, The Octagon.
