The Cafe

17C with long sunny spells. Light breeze.

Apothecary7's day off, and an early start this morning as it was service and MOT day for my car. Car dropped off at the garage we headed for M&S at City Quay (Gallagher retail park) in Dundee.

I often mention that we visit the M&S cafe but it is usually too busy to stand and get a picture. Today, however, it was very quiet as we arrived minutes before 9am. We like the light open airy space created by the glass front wall with a mezzanine floor in what was a factory space. The seating area extends to behind the glass panels you can see forming an 'L' shape above the shopping area below. Before M&S got the building it was a Borders book shop with a Starbucks coffee shop.

We had a walk up to the Howff with Maeve the Deerhound too.

My car passed its MOT ... hooray.
We went back in the afternoon to collect it.
